From biotechnology and research to AI, bioinformatics, automation, and building practical projects.

A Love of Science

My curiosity about how living systems work and their evolution from the simplest to the most complex entity led me to study biology. I came to realise that nature presents endless resources and that understanding plants and animal physiology would be the first step for valuing the natural world and harness it without losing its ecological balance.

The PhD Years

Pursuing a PhD in Biotechnology taught me how to think critically, solve complex problems, analyse data, and remain resilient when experiments did not go as planned.

Discovering Programming

My journey into technology began with learning Python through Angela Yu's course on Udemy. Programming opened up new ways of solving problems, analysing data, and building practical tools.

Learning Beyond Academia

Throughout my journey I explored different environments, from scientific research to customer-facing roles. These experiences helped me develop adaptability, communication skills, and a broader perspective on working with people from diverse backgrounds.

Working in AI

My interest in technology grew further through my work on AI-related projects, including contributions to Gemini. This experience introduced me to the world of large language models and strengthened my interest in how AI can help people learn, create, and solve problems.

Connecting Biology and Technology

As I continued learning to code, I became increasingly interested in bioinformatics and computational biology. Through projects and training programs such as HackBio, I began applying machine learning and AI techniques to biological datasets, combining my scientific background with new technical skills.

Building Projects

Today, I enjoy learning by building. From AI assistants and automation workflows to data science and bioinformatics projects, I use hands-on projects as a way to develop skills, test ideas, and explore new technologies.

What's Next?

I am currently exploring deep learning with PyTorch, AI agents, automation with n8n, and new applications of AI in science. While I do not know exactly where the journey will lead, I am excited to keep learning, building, and sharing along the way.
